Tuesday’s wholesale inflation data, which jumped to its highest rate in a year, certainly wasn’t a source of comfort. “I wouldn’t call it hot, I would call it sort of mixed,” Powell said Tuesday, referring to the new wholesale inflation data. Seoul, South Korea CNN —Ghost Shark and Manta Ray protect the undersea realm. Ghost Shark and Manta Ray are the names of prototype uncrewed underwater vehicles – UUVs or drones – introduced recently by Australia and the United States respectively. But when Australia unveiled Ghost Shark last month, it called the prototypes “the most advanced undersea autonomous vehicles in the world.”The first Ghost Shark prototype, "Alpha," was co-developed by the Defence Science and Technology Group, Navy and Anduril Australia. Like the Orca, the Manta Ray hasn’t come together as quickly as Ghost Shark. Its program began in 2020 and DARPA didn’t give a goal for the Manta Ray – or some variant of it – to join the US fleet.

A hybrid Porsche 911, with its gas engine assisted by at least one battery-powered electric motor, will officially be revealed in an online event on May 28. Porsche itself already sells plug-in hybrid models like the Cayenne e-Hybrid SUV and Panamera e-Hybrid four-door car but a hybrid 911 is another matter. This new hybrid model will be the closest Porsche can get to an electric 911 without raising those sorts of philosophical questions. But we do know the hybrid 911 is clearly faster than the current purely gas-powered 911. The faster time indicates the hybrid 911 has greater power due to the addition of electric assistance.

After hearing one executive during an event last month at his Mar-a-Lago club complain about supposedly burdensome environmental regulations promulgated by the Biden administration, Trump made a proposition. You all are wealthy enough, he said, that you should raise $1 billion to return me to the White House. His hotel, located just down the street from the White House, was a clearinghouse for anyone who wanted to buy a favor. CNN —Three flight attendants are winning praise for successfully defusing a physical fight between two passengers on board an EVA Air flight. That’s when three female flight attendants stepped in to handle the situation, says EVA. “The company has always adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards incidents of passenger nuisance,” EVA told CNN in the statement. Following the incident, EVA publicly expressed its “sincere gratitude” to its employees and vowed to look into the incident further. That same year, EVA reversed its policy of only hiring women as flight attendants and said it would hire men as cabin crew members too.
